2011 Dream Employers Survey announced

Insync Surveys and experience gift retailer RedBalloon have launched the second annual Dream Employers Survey.

The survey is open to a public vote and aims to identify the most desirable employers in Australia and New Zealand. Last year’s survey showed that 73% of respondents claimed they weren’t working for their dream employer.

Google was ranked as the most desirable organization to be working for followed closely by Virgin Group, self-employment, and Apple. The 2011 survey will segment respondents according to job level and plans to look more closely at what respondents consider to be the key factors in determining ‘dream employer’ status.

“The point of difference with this survey is that it enables us to recognize Australia and New Zealand’s Dream Employers as voted by the people,” said Naomi Simson, CEO of RedBalloon. “A strong employer brand is a great indicator of an organization’s stamina. With current and prospective employees acting as advocates, winning organizations are likely to be successful on many fronts.”
